As one of your Mexican correspondents of Oppo I had to make a post commemorating the ONLY battle the Mexican army has ever won against a foreign country as part of a war they didn’t even win. In all honesty, it’s a pointless celebration used to give lazy political leaders the day off from their “hard work” of taking the citizens’ taxes to live lavishly. Anyway, lets celebrate with some Mexican made machines!

Kinja'd!!!

Obviously, the MK7 Golf had to be here, as it may very well be the best car to ever come out of here. Also, a lot of other VW’s.

Don’t know where you got the info that the Juke was made in Mexico. Also, I’ve seen the VIN from Jukes sold in Mexico and they start with J.

YES!

I am a bit skeptical of Mexican Audis though, but lets see.

I went to see the GTI (I’m a brother Golf 1.4 owner here, though mine is an MK6) and I did not like the interior at all, I think the normal one looks wayyyyy better and the GTIs is NOT appropiate for a $425k+ car at all.

I never thought I’d live to see the day a Ford did interiors better than the comparable VW but the day is now, it’s probably awesome to drive and I’m probably gonna end up buying one in the near-ish future, but for now I’m just gonna chip my car and call it a day...

Considering that, who knows what they’ll do with the Audi, though tolerance must be a lot lower when doing a premium car, also I think Merc is doing a factory here too and I think Infiniti too...

Oh nice! I love the supercharged and turbocharged engine, and APR does tunes for it as well. As for the GTI, since it isn’t sold as either a manual or a 3 for (2 options that I think VW is retarded not to offer here) I lost interest in it and bought the highest equipped version with a stick.

Comfort line with sport pack and parking sensors pack.

I heard rumors of Mercedes as well.

GOD yes! So basically I’m pretty much maxed out too, I want the manual too but I prefer 5 door, so I’m pretty fucked, since the old GTI is 3door only and the new one is DSG only (I’d be fine with DSG but apparently they blow to high hell even on a stage 1)

I do plan on getting an APR but I got mad the only garage that sells them here has one price posted online (in MXP) and when I asked for a quote they said those aren the current prices and quoted me (around 2-3k more pesos) in USD, when I get over that I probably will get the APR chip...

Have any reference of anyone you know whos got an APR Repro? Be nice to know if I’m blowing up my car just cause of two doors...

They screwed us both with the GTI.

As per the APR, I have no clue. I live in Tamaulipas and the closest APR place is in Veracruz.
